Overview:

With all of the rumors, legends, myths, and misinformation surrounding attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), it can be challenging to separate fact from fiction. This webinar will explore the intricate relationship between ADHD and substance use disorder (SUD).

Is there a connection between ADHD and substance abuse? If so, why does this correlation exist? And most importantly, what can be done to prevent and treat substance abuse in individuals with ADHD?

Historically, ADHD has been a diagnosis shrouded in judgment and misunderstanding. However, current evidence suggests that individuals with ADHD are more likely to experience higher rates of substance abuse, often starting at younger ages.
